Purim Celebration 5779

The festival of Purim commemorates the salvation of the Jewish people in ancient Persia from Haman. It is celebrated with reading Megillat Esther, festive food, charity, and joy. To enhance the meritment during the Megillah reading in the High Synagogue, we brought various noisemakers and Rabbi Ron also provided us with some from his very own collection. This year´s Purim was very special to us as we were accompanied by a lovely group of american students who also joined us for a themed dinner in Dinitz that night. On the menu was excellent Persian style buffet which Dinitz prepared specifically for this joyful occasion. Check out our facebook video to see how the festivities looked like.
